MEET THE OWNER:

For nearly a decade, Rey Pena has had the opportunity to serve the local community through the education-based non-profit sector, working directly with some of the most marginalized populations in West Michigan. His heart is where the community is, and the community is Rey's heart. Serving others gives him life, and food is undoubtedly Rey's love language, making it only natural to continue serving the community outside of traditional non-profit work by feeding them.

This is the origin story of Papa Roux, born from a growing desire to embed deeply within the community while continuing to serve in ways others cannot or will not do. By partnering with local housing agencies and silently offering funds to help assist local families struggling to make ends meet, Papa Roux aims to feed the community food they'll love while simultaneously positioning itself to make a larger impact.

Rey's Favorite thing to sell: " Anything that is specialty, new or trending!"
