All Essentially Free handcrafts every item in small batches, using only high-quality ingredients from trusted sources—always free from phthalates and sulfites. The goal has always been to make clean, natural products that help, not harm—at a price that’s affordable for everyone, not just the elite. These are products made with care, for people who want to know exactly what’s going on their skin.
MEET THE OWNER:
"My name is Dawn Barr, and I created All Essentially Free because I needed better options for my own family. When my children were little, I was a single mom working up to three jobs just to get by. They both had very sensitive skin, and the products they needed were too expensive—so I started learning how to make them myself.
What began as a way to care for my kids slowly became something I shared with others. I gave products away to friends, and people started telling me I should sell them. I started small, and through word of mouth, it grew. Last year, I officially launched my business and opened my chalet at Western Market.
I was blown away by the support and kindness I received from the Muskegon community. It’s been so rewarding to connect with others who are also looking for a better, cleaner way. I’m always learning and improving, and I can’t wait to be back at the market this season!"
